Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ReachR is a creator clipping marketplace: businesses and creators ("Creators") fund campaigns, and short-form video creators ("Clippers") earn money by posting clips that get verified views.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to everyone who uses reachr.in and our dashboards. By using ReachR you confirm you are 18 or older.

We do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

2. The data we collect

We collect only what the platform needs to operate:

• Account data — your name, username, email, password (held securely by our authentication provider), and an optional phone number.
• Profile data — optional avatar, cover image, tagline, bio, your role (Creator/Clipper), and a platform rating.
• KYC & financial data — to pay Clippers and meet payment-partner rules: a masked PAN and the name on it; and your bank account number (stored as a secure token showing only the last four digits), IFSC code, and account-holder name.
• Wallet & transaction data — balances, deposits, payouts, fees, withdrawal requests, and a ledger of every movement with payment references.
• Campaign & submission data — the campaigns Creators create, and the clip links, view counts, and earnings of Clippers.
• Connected social accounts — if you link Instagram or YouTube, we store the handle, channel ID, and verification status. We do not use OAuth and do not store access tokens or follower data.
• Technical & security data — login timestamps, essential session cookies, and limited request data (such as IP address) for security and fraud prevention.

3. Why we use your data

• To create and operate your account and dashboard.
• To verify your identity (KYC) and bank account so we can process payouts.
• To process deposits, calculate earnings from verified views, and make payouts.
• To verify view counts on submitted clips using the platforms’ own data.
• To prevent fraud, fake views, and abuse, and to keep the platform secure.
• To send essential transactional emails about your account, campaigns, and withdrawals.
• To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. Consent & your choices

For most processing we rely on the consent you give when you sign up and accept this policy. Your consent is free, specific, informed, and unambiguous, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Some processing — identity/KYC verification and the retention of financial records — is necessary to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, and may continue even after you withdraw consent for other purposes.

5. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with the service providers that make the platform work, and only the data each one needs: our payment processor (for Creator deposits), our database/authentication/storage provider, our KYC partner (to verify PAN and bank account), our transactional-email provider, and the YouTube and Instagram data services we use to verify view counts.

We may also disclose data where required by law or a valid government request, and to protect our rights and our users. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party marketing.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you securely logged in. These are httpOnly session cookies set by our server. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove personal data we are not legally required to keep. Financial, KYC, and transaction records are retained for the period required by Indian tax, banking, and anti-money-laundering law, even after account deletion.

8. How we protect your data

We apply reasonable security practices: bank account numbers are stored as tokens (only the last four digits are shown), PAN is masked, data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted through authentication and role controls. If a data breach occurs, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we’ve shared it with.
• Correction — fix inaccurate or incomplete data, much of which you can edit in Settings.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to the legal-retention exceptions above.
• Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already done.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer.
• Nominate — name someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.

10. Children

ReachR is a financial product for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform or the law changes. We’ll post the new version with an updated effective date and, for material changes, notify you and (where required) seek fresh consent.
